I glazed her with VM

I waxed her with S100

And then I embarrased her by running 15.6 in the 1/4 mile... lol:o
 
15.6...not all that bad. Practice is key too when on the 1/4. Next time try reducing some weight. Go on the track with a 1/4 tank of gas and make your car a one seater. Some slicks may help too....jk



Nice car BTW, I like Audi colors, they're pretty.
 
Looks like the Ultra-Sport 1.8T package if I'm correct. and a damn fine looking car at that.



Don't feel bad about the drag strip performance...I've got a B5 A4 1.8T with a GIAC chip and K&N drop in filter and the best I've ever run was 15.8 and that was on the stock 15's...it hardly gets out of it's own way with 19' sportec's on it...darn TIP car...didn't buy it to go fast though...so it still serves its purpose.

The Audi A4 1.8T is not that fast...it definitely looks great, though...the best 1/4 mile times stock would probably be in the low to mid 15's.
 
You think that's bad? My old 240D would reach the 1/4 before it would reach 60 mph. But yeah, it looked good too.

Actually, stock, they run 17's. DEFINITELY a slow car. (but at least she looks good getting there... lol



Hopefully, she will look even better if I can get her ther on these rims...

15.6 isn't bad. my '89 5.0L mustang ran around there. what was your trap speed? i'd say around 90-92 mph. if it was higher, that is an indication that your audi has a little more potential.

so did you beat the other guy?

Edit: Oh, I forgot to rub it in that my Oldsmobile runs a 14.86... ;)

I personally would rather have a nice looking car like yours that isn't the fastest, but great looking!!!!

yeah, the guy in the passat actually called me out... I remember seeing him at the starting line, but I did not see him after that.... hmmm... lol
