Arrest Me Red...

How come the edges of everything looks wavy?...it is more pronounced in the 2nd pic.

Look carefully at the slats on the house...How come they are not straight?

Also look at the tire. In the second pic it is obviously darker. Lighting seems to be the major factor in why the pictures look different.

The vehicle looks great in both pictures but you cannot make any judgements of discernible differences due to the products used on it.

Sean, great detail! I love it! :bow

No offense, but something about the pics seem off. I dunno what it is. The colour of the car. Something.

Outstanding wet red paint! Even more amazing is your willingness to do that with snow still on the ground!

I'm somewhat surprised you didn't notice a difference with #16, though it is a carnauba that to me mostly adds wetness to the paint since unlike Souveran or Meguiars #26, it doesn't darken the paint. What matters what looks good to you and I do agree that Pink Wax does have its own character and will add a noticable improvement to proper prep.

I think you will find PW to be a very slick wax too, next time you wash your car.

god damn ! just when i think you can't out do yourself ! :D

zaino though eh ? Hmmm ? I've gone with UPP for winter durability instead. why zaino ?

Lookin' good Sean. I was wondering when you were going to give the Pink Wax a try. Looks pretty good. I thought your teg would be a great color for the Pink Wax. Put a couple layers on, once you get a couple of coats it's pretty amazing. And wait until you wash it next time. I would say you wouldn't believe the way it beads and sheets water, but you have before. I topped the FMJ on my Altima because the beads were nothing like the Pink Wax.

Sorry to hear about your window. Jealous a$$ bishes.:angry

Thoughts on pink wax for silver?

Hey OneQuickGT1,

I topped my silver Altima with Pink Wax yesterday, I will post a pic for you tomorrow on this forum. I put the Pink Wax over FMJ x2 and I can hardly look at my car in the sun. The flake is absolutely blinding. But out of the sun it has great clarity and depth, if silver can have depth. The FMJ did a good job, but the Pink Wax complimented it very, very well! This is by far the best the Altima has looked! So check back tomorrow, I will get a couple of shots with it!

Sean,

Looks very clean with great reflective properties. I notice a difference in the pictures but I believe a big part of that is the lower shot in the second picture. It catches the light in a different way, hence I believe the darker red.

I mean in no way to take away from the great detail work, just hoping to shed some light on the picture difference.

Now why they have odd looks to them I have no idea. Camera maybe?

Great work anyways, we have nothin but rain

:(

That last picture, Sean...:woot:

The reflection of the snow on your tailgate and bumper are so sharp and clear I thought someone had sprayed shaving cream all over the back. Must be nice to have such a great surface to work with all the time!:xyxthumbs

Thank you everyone :bow

To address the picture issue. I tried something different this time around. I took the pics at max resolution and resized them a ton. This proved to almost compress the image *too* much which caused some blurring. I used the "pixel clean up" feature on my photo program which helped a bit. The clean up pretty much sharpens it a touch.

I will go back to the old way as some of the pics here I wasn't thrilled about...Yes, that last pic is my fav too :D.

sorry to have brought up a bad vibe. Too bad you don't live closer or I'd be able to take care of that window for you!
