Does Armour All make a QD? I sure hope they do, because I just saw a guy at my apt. complex QDing his car with it.

Chances are the guy is using Armorall, but I guess it is possible he could be recycling the bottle, and may have ONR or QEW solution in there.

Believe me, he has no idea what those products are.

Maybe they produced a QD at some point? I know I was surprised when in my neighbor's cleaning bucket there was an AA car odor neutralizer product (similar to Febreze auto). I just never remembered seeing it in the stores, but there are plenty of things I've never seen before in my life.

Guys, 303, which is a similar PDMS product to Armor All, recommends putting it on your paint, in fact using it instead of any other LSP. Heck, I'm sure it's not as good, but it can't hurt, and if you're not going to put anything else on your car, why not have something that has some UV and water repellency?

Well that just sounds down right reasonable. When it comes to AA, we can't have any of that here! :chuckle:

if he's actually using AA, i can imagine what it would look like if it was wax... :D

303 doesn't even buff out very clear. It baffles me a bit as to why they would recommend putting it on paint?

Um...to sell more product? They take basically the same protectant and sell it for what we use it for, patio furniture, and showers. Some time ago there was a thread discussing the different 303 cleaners, and someone here was told by 303 that they are all the same product at different dilution levels. As I said earlier in the thread, why not recommend it for other uses, as long as it doesn't do any damage? Poorboy was telling us at his detail day that Spray and Wipe was great for cleaning your eyeglasses...
