arizona showers are so annoying

they are so off and on. sun shining one minute, raining the next. goes like this no joke for 5 hours straight.



when this happens, how should I deal with a client? I have one setup in an hour and the weather.com radar appears as if it won't be raining more today however you never know.



offer a warranty of 3 days? It isnt supposed to rain for another week

You must have got what we got on Monday ? Rained like you know what, here in So. Cal for about 3-4 hrs......I usually call my clients up and ask if they would want a QD...Makes for good customer service....
 
It has been raining all day here. Cold too, low 40s and upper 30s. Ugh. The extended forecast isn't any better, highs well below average for this time of year (should be in the upper 50s) and on and off rain through Tuesday.



I normally give my customers $10 off their next service if it rains on them within 24 hours.

That is exactly why I don't live up north. Considering our average high is now 57 and I work outside all day with wet hands for much of the time while detailing, upper 30s is pretty nasty. It is also harder to dry the vehicles when it is cool and humid.
 
Well I washed it and said I'd cover it for the next 48 hours.



While washing it picked up another client who saw me doing it.

Well, at least in Arizona, two days in a row is pretty rare. Several times a year, we get some stupid slow moving low pressure system that causes 3-5 straight days of rain.
