Looking into a good wheel cleaner.

I currently use my APC diluted (AM triple seven) and it seems to work well. But still scrubbing is needed. I understand that most cleaners will still need a lil' scrubbing.

I am looking into a gel wheel cleaner, or citrus wheel cleaner, I hear these cleaners work very wheel and are safe on all wheels.

If you have used a citrus wheel cleaner or any gel type product for your wheels please share your experiences.

Thanks

I use a citrus cleaner, and love it, I get 5 gallons for $40 and cut it 4:1 for tires and rims. Any cleaner you will have to agitate some (unless its acid) but I find citrus is the most well rounded product.

Add a little (1 or 2 ounces) of car wash to your diluted APC sprayer (assumong quart size), it thickens it up and causes it to stay and clean longer on your wheel. If you have a sprayer that spits out a foam (like EO wheel/tire cleaner) then it works even better. I like CG's Citrus Wash & Gloss, but any good car wash will work.

southerndetail what process do you use on your wheels?

bobcat very good idea! Why didn't i think of this! acually I think i did this a few times when my apc got low one day I figued I'd add a little car wash, but don't remember if there was any hang time. I'll have to try this out.
