Are these abrasive?

Hi I've been using Zaino and now would love to try out other products from PB and 4*. My question is, are UPP and EX-P abrasive?

Also, I don't see any tips/guides on using PB products even on poorbosyworld.com. i.e. using machine or not, how long to wait before removal, cure time, etc. Any direction would be appreciated.

Thanks.

UPP and EX-P are not abrasives. They are sealants. On Poorboy's Propolish I have done the entire car and then wiped off and I have done sections at a time. Either way worked for me. I tend to do the entire car before wiping off. I can say the same for Polish with Carnuba,.Ex and EX-P I left on the car for a minimum of an hour. These two are sealants and need cure time. I have used all 4 of these Poorboy's products in the hot sun. All were easy on easy off and the results are outstanding. UPP is the bling bling when it comes to light metallics. I too have used this in the sun and let bake for over an hour. The key is thin to very thin coats on all these products. I use a micro to wipe them off. Oh yea welcome to DC. The best advice I can give you is read these threads. You'll more than likely find your answers.

Both Poorboy's and 4* make various products and those meant to remove swirls will be abrasive (otherwise they wouldn't remove swirls :) )
Poorboy's has 4 products that I know of that are abrasive - they are calle Super Swirl Removers (SSRs).
I believe 4* has 1 abrasive product, perhaps Dwayne or someone else could provide more details.

If you're talking about sealants then they won't be abrasive (although they might have some cleaning abilities).
Just remember - don't associate a brand with just one of its products.

HTH

Edit:
My bad - didn't realize you mentioned specific products :doh - please ignore.
Darn talking Buzzard distracted me.

PB products are too versatile for tips. :-p

On the actual bottles of product, it's not unlikely to read 2 or 3 ways of applying.

As mentioned previously, read the threads on the products you're interested in (in both the PoorBoy's and Product Discussion forums), and if you still have some questions that where unanswered, I hear Steve knows a little something about his products and will likely enlighten you if you were to pm, e-mail, or even call him!
