Are Lexol's instructions "Wrong"?

I never thought much of Lexol conditioner even though I used it for years because before the internet that's really all there was. I would wipe it on "Wait a few minutes" (like 5-6) and wipe it off - still wet. Then I read on one of the sites to let it dry before "buffing off" and there's a world of difference! It now really does soften the leather and give a deeper color. It's like a new product to me. How do others use it?

never used it but i'm glad that things turned around and it worked out for you in the end. I have been wanting to try it out . . . . . how is the scent that it gives or leaves behind afterward s?

Not much. It kinda smells like a cross between candles and kleenex lol. Maybe with a hint of modeling clay. But it's gone after the wipedown, or at most a couple days.

I've only finished the door cards and the back of one seat to test it. Now I'm sitting here waiting for the whole back seat to dry.
