Are DA and Rot. pads interchangable?

Can the DA pad be used on a rotary? Their size makes them much more user friendly!

Yes as long as you have the same size BP for both.

If your using The Edge2000 system and adapter you don't even need to change your backing plate to switch pads between machines.

This is true, but you will also need a backing plate for the PC and a backing plate for the rotary. Backing plates wear out and break. Edge2000 adatpers cost less than backing plates and they are UNCONDITIONALLY GUARANTEED FOR LIFE! Doubt you will get that deal on an uncenterable backing plate.
