Applying polish and SR

I was wondering if anyone applies the product to the paint with an applicator and then uses the PC on it. Or do you just apply the product with the PC and work it in at the same time. I did both this weekend with good results. I also found that really slowing down how fast you move the PC across the paint helps get swirls out easier. What is everybodys input on the best way for say DACP or somthing similar.

Just put the product on the pad and apply, you don't have to apply it by hand first. You're right, the slower you go, the better results you will have, if you move too fast you will inflict more damage than you will remove.
