Applying Natty's Blue

in temperatures under 40 degrees.Had things to do so I didn't wait long for the temperature to warm up. First of all I washed my car with Poorboy's SupeSuds. Usually I use a 1/2 ounce of Super but today I went overboard and used an ounce and a half.Filled the bucket with 2 gallons of hot water Filled the rinse bucket with 3 gallons of hot water. Went outside, poured an ounce and a half of super in the 2 gallons of hot water. Then I blasted the hot water with cold water from the hose. Immediately suds burst out of the water and overflowed the 5 gallon bucket. Next I wetted down the car and proceeded to bathe the car in a blanket of soap 1 section at a time. I admit with 8 coats of Natty's Blue it was hard to keep the foam on the car. I rinsed off the soap with the hose on the jet stream setting. Following this I flooded the car using the flush method.Using a green Cobra Guzzler I dried the car. Like my other waffleweaves this towel is a dandy. Blotting the surfaces it soaked up all the water.I hung up the towel and broke out the Natty's Blue.First I was going to do a section at a time because the temps were around 36 but I decided against it. I thought this will be a little test. I applied Natty's Blue to the entire car before buffing it off with a Poorboy's green super/mega/ultra/whatever plush micro. The wax came off with no effort at all. Natty's Blue was not the least bit stubborn. Now the salt is off my car and the deep rich gloss is working again.

Those Guzzlers are AWESOME. I got mine free when Autogeek had 20% off shortly before DetailFest.

I just topped my Natty's blue with some Souveran that I just got, and couldn't wait to try it out. It looks good but I really like the Natty's Blue better. Of the dozens of wax's that I have, I think Blue looks best to my eyes on my (red) car.
Awesome wax at a great price.

I prefer the blue ww from Poorboys to the green guzzler (I think I got the blue ww from PB's).

I'm detailing a bike now (I've got all winter) for a local chef. It is a Honda, painted brown, canvas tape on the pipes, suicide adjustments, and scuffed chrome. I'm layering Blue on each day I have a chance with EX-P underneath. I'm going for a personal best (PB, get it!!).

With 40+ degree days for the next week, i'm afraid to ask how much more wax you are going to have on those cars:rofl

Hoping to put another coat on tomorrow and do a wash, polish, seal, on my daughter's. I want another coat on mine Sunday and another coat of sealant on her's then a coat of Natty's. I love warm weather.

Buffing pads for removing wax or applying? I can't remember.

Right now I have roughly(didn't actually check) a 1/2 a jar left and I have put on a total of 17 coats of Blue on 3 cars.Hopefully my car gets 2 more in the next 2 days but my wife is trying to make that difficult. She wants me to spruce up the house for this weekend. At least I can detail a bathroom.
