Applying #16

I find foam works best with thick products and paste. MF applicators work best with thinner products IMO.

I always get my best results, paste or liquid, using foam pads to apply waxes and sealants.

Rain delay in Dallas I guess, so a quick question, Scott.

What is your opinion of Poorboy's PVA applicators. Tried Natty's Wax with one... not wowed at all. Even EX-P seemed hard to apply with it. Any good use for these or am I missing something?

5 straight rain delays in a row....

I have never used the PVA applicator. Never even received one, so I can't help you with that.

I apply #16 with the blue appy with the handle. It lets me work the wax into the paint and not cramp my hand one panel at a time.they are sold here for $3.00 and worth every penny. You do not waste any product at all.just apply very thin

I bought some of those for my kids to use when working with me this summer. They like those a lot more than the conventional foam pads for the very same reason as you. Me? I like both but I am so used to using the regular foam pads I don't get any hand cramps.

I apply #16 with a 4" foam pad on my cordless R/O .. Matter of fact I apply just about everything with it but for the thin ones like Zaino / SG/Glanz etc. I can put NXT on my passat in less than 10 min. I buy the foam pads at Canadian tire for 4/$12 .. thats 4 / $0.79 in US funds .
