Big thanks to Jim (stickman81) for his help! Together we got this special project knocked out!!!

I was contacted by the owner a while back as he wanted his Black Acura CL-S bling'd out for the NOPI show here in Atlanta. Then he told me the car would be in the RonJon Sport Design booth. :2thumbs:

The hood just had a repaint and the ground effects where also just painted.

Process:

Wash-clay-wash

EC/OP on roof and trunk Rotary 1600 yellow pad, followed by 106ff/RMG mix on the same Rotary 1300 green pad.

106ff/RMG on the rest of the car with PC6 and green pad.

RMG w/ Blue propel pad PC4.

2x Souveran by hand-Supplied by owner.

Front/rear lenses got Plexus.

Pipes got NXT polish

The RonJon 19" wheels got JWs prime to bring out the bling.

Tires got Z18

Interior:

Seats and trim got cleaned with 777 APC 1-10

Leather got duragloss leather conditioner.

Trim got 303

Glass got IG pump

Here is what the sides of the car looked like when we started:

The water spots on the roof and trunk were very deep:

The roof was the worst, I even tried straight EC with the yellow LC pad at 1700. I got a little reduction, consulted with the owner and we agreed that more reduction would have to wait for another time.

I was able to do somewhat of a reduction on the trunk with EC/OP

The hood painted a few weeks ago still needed finished out:

1 pass of 106ff/RMG on the PC6 with green propel:

After all the polishing and RMG:

Not too many final pics as they had to get to the track and setup for the event.

My pleasure to help out.

The car turned out great. (if I do say so myself)

When it first got there, I could not believe the condition of the paint, including the freshly painted hood. Bryan found a great combo after a short amount of time and we went to town. I was really suprised and pleased with the outcome.

Thanks for the great day Bryan. Each time I hang out I learn a little more.

Today I think my speed picked up a little bit.

:buffing:

Does the after of the hood look like it still has some haze to anyone? Maybe its just the flash? If so should I have used a softer pad (excel blue) and hit it with 106ff/rmg again? I did not check the hood again with a light or flash after the RMG.

Wow... the finished work looks awesome :2thumbs: The depth is excellent especially with RMG + Souveran  .

I first want to thank Bryan and Jim for a great job well done, and being able to work around my time. They did an excellent job. I received several compliments about how well it looked at the show. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
