APC with Gilmour foam gun?

My car hasn't been washed all winter, like four months. Just wondering if I can give it an Meguiars APC bath with the gilmour foam gun. Ratios?
 
I saw a thread about a year ago on Meguiar's where someone did that. They didn't have any problems. I've been thinking of doing the same thing just to give it a good cleaning but might use CG Wash & Gloss instead.
 
personally I wouldn't myself I got advise from someone and they directed me to ADS and recommended there foaming trigger sprayers, and they are wonderful. Although I was going to put tire cleaner in my foamaster and just do tires....a whole car though, the trigger doesn't seem practical, I be a little scared of corroding the plastic my self....

i wouldn't use just APC to wash, it will dry up quickly and can be a pain to wash off. just used a strong amount of soap solution...
 
I used 4:1 in the tank and the 4:1 setting to clean mt vinyl siding and I think it would be a little strong for paint. It foamed well, but I would be careful with the dwell time and be sure to have it in full shade with cool paint.
