APC or APC+

Hey guys, haven't posted in a while, but have been in ghost mode.

Listen, i just bought a gallon of APC+ today and wondered whats the difference between the APC (green) and APC+ (blue) liquid....as all i noticed was the butyl content (wot does this do?)

anyway, was wondering if u guys could post up your favourite uses for APC+ and its dilutios! :xyxthumbs

I use 4:1 on wheels and 9:1 on interior use. Seems to work well. I've got 2 32oz bottles with the above dilutions. If I need it diluted more, I just give the area a pre-spritz of water prior to APC+

hmm, ye, guess best would be to follow the dilution ratios on the back of the bottle...thing is after readin thru 8 pages of apc related threads i got a lil more confused...as well as more informed :D

is APC+ safe on plastics, hosing, and wheels?

I use it everywhere and it seems fine to me.

Wheels, wheelwells, under bonnet, chassis, carpet mats (especially the driver's side) but dog's eaten the filter for my wet & dry vac AND my step down transformer's broken so no vacuuming or PCing for me at the mo!!!

do i need to use a wet vac for when i use it on carpets, or could i spritz enuf that i can dry up wit a towel

Depends on how dirty your carpets are. I usually soak mats then wet vac but seats I generally spritz then wet vac to be sure of removing all dirt/water.

And just ordered new filter and found out that manufacturer is about 20 minutes' drive away - guess what I'll be doing tonight?
