What is the difference between this and the orange APC 3D sells? How is the smell? How do both of these compare to the dearly departed HD Total?
 
First of all Total will be back and is still available over the phone. Not much smell to it. This is more like TOTAL, and Orange is more like or closer to Grand slam in my book
 
I tried (used to use Meg's) both and it is a better product. Smell about the same (nothing fancy), but the lack of suds that you get with Meg's is non existent. You would love it doing carpets. Not even in the same category. Meg's to me was very limited as far as where I would use it. This one is very gentle yet cleans better. I use it everywhere. Really like it on cleaning leather
 
I've been happy with my 3D APC, even pretty diluted it works very well for the daily touchups of the dog-hauler's interior.



I never did figure out when I oughta reach for my Total though, it's still sitting there unused :think: :confused:
 
Well, why not try it on the interior next time and see if you like the cleaning power it provides over the green cleaner? I find it equally gentle. Engine? same, maybe on tires I'd prefer the green one. However I never done a side by side. Maybe I should.



For 1 the smell of total is awesome for me. reminds me of frankincense and Myrrh. Best smelling APC! :D
 
I use about 10:1 for basic interior, extractor pre treating, and leather. I also at times use this same dilution for HEAVY bugs on the front of vehicles. They wipe right off after this.



For my Tornador gun I use about a 5:1 since I use that for heavy interior cleaning and carpet spots I can't get out with the extractor.
 
I love this APC. I've tried a few others and am currently using stronger dilutions than I need of my Megs APC+, just so I have an excuse to buy this again. But, then again...I'm going to a distributor of 3D products tomorrow to pick up some Nitro Seal...........I might just grab it anyway, lol.



With the green APC, orange degreaser, LVP, HD Uno/Polish/Poxy...I literally can't wait to finish off the rest of my Meg's stuff so I can start getting more 3d stockpiles.
