ANYONE USED THE 3m ULTRAFINA PADS??? PLEASE REPORT RESULTS

Hello everyone, I'm tired of the inconsistent quality in some of the recent pads that I've purchased. I've always learned to trust 3M in whatever they produce is giong to be consistant with their quality standards. And therefore I was thinking about giong with their pads. The only concern that I have is the size which is 8". Wanted to see if anyone has had any experience whether good or bad with these pads. If you've had any experience please writte in.

ps I was going to use the Ultrafina pad with the Ultrafina as my final step before glazing. If you think there is a better pad like LC black or blue please comment.
 
I remember gmblack3 was using them extensively some time ago and may still be. I would try to hit him with a PM.
 
In my opinion the UK 3M pads are the absolute best pads to use with Ultrafina, but the LC red, grey and blue work fine also if you would like to save some money. I have used them all with UF and the 3M pads are definately worth the extra money.

I would go with the UK version as they seem to finish better than the US version. You can get the UK version in a 6.5" size.

The foam is definitely different between the US and UK versions. The LC will work too though.
