Anyone use this yet.

MOL members are raving about it. I picked up a bottle today to see what the hubbub is about. I've only sprayed a quickie test panel but it increased gloss and resulted in a super-slick finish. The jury's still out as far as longevity. I wouldn't expect much from a spray in that regard but I think it'll be useful for quick touchups. Probably excellent for use at a show as well.

I've used it and it does live up to its hype. Very slick and glossy, not sure about how long it will last.

Since it is a fun sun product I was thinking about using it at a show.
I don't care about durability just easy to use and high gloss is what I'm looking for.
Sounds like I need to try it.

I have nothing but positive things to say about the Meg's stuff I have used in that "Ultimate XXXXX" line so far (including NXT 2.0). The ultimate Quick Detailer and ultimate Interior Detailer (I think) have been pretty good products.

So my question is...If this line is the Ultimate, is Meguiars done? :D

I have meant to pick up some of the Ultimate QD product at the local WM, but have been enjoying PB's QD+.

Re the Quick Wax vs the QD product. In a show situation I wonder which gives the most BANG POP POW?

 If Meg's R&D Dept. are anything like Pizza Hut they still have at least room for one more improvement=ULTIMATE SURPREME :headspin:headspin:headspin:dcrules

The names are just marketing. The products stand for themselves. The OTC market is all about difference so there is some new hype every few years to stand out on the OTC shelves.

As for quick detailing, I have two modes: cleaning (like with ONR) or Mothers Showtime (if you like the scent) or real protection (a real spray wax). For the price, get the real spray wax is the better deal for not much extra effort.

Bunky, you missed "points" of my post...but thanks for playing. :D

Can't speak for the quick wax, but their Ultimate quick detailer is one really nice product.
So if it follows suite then I don't see you being disappointed.

I agree the UQD is a very good product.
I also like the NXT 2.0 on my Black vehicles.

The Ultimate Quick Wax is great. Goes on easy comes off clean. It is much more of a Quick Detail Type Product then it is a Liquid Spray Wax Product. The NXT Liguid Spray wax was discontinued about 5 or 6 months ago. I have used the Ultimate Quick Wax for about 90 days. It has an awsome GRAPE scent to it and is a little friendlier "wipe off" compared with some other products. Make sure you use "Looped" or super plush high end Microfiber for removal or you will shed fibers that will be visible on dark finished cars - mainly Black, Blue & red. I have applied this over every concievable wax out there with no negative results. I have used all the higher end Spray Detail / Wax products out there and always fall back to this. While Meguiars i running there Buy 3 Get one promo it is a great time to give it a try. You will not be sorry. .... Also one last thing, it always does a nice job on mild water spotting and I have even done a light application as a drying product surficant and have been very very pleased !

yeah i think i am definately going to get the ultimate quick wax to go hand in hand with my quick detailer from megs . and im sure the two are meant to be used in combo for a superb result !

I tried the new UQW yesterday it goes on real easy and removes easy with a nice smell.
Left the surface smooth and has a nice gloss.

I have no idea how long it will last but IMO it will have to be very good to compare to my favorite which is AW.

We are so fortunate to have so many excellent products to choose from.

The young-ins here don't know what it was like to use Simonize

I would have took a photo of my Black Ranger after applying the UQW but my digital camera is not working right.
It is supposed to be a point and shoot but it don't get the light setting right.
Camera has not been used very much I guess can't buy anything that will last very long anymore.
