Anyone use this Glare Professional Polish...?

The only time I see or hear about Glare is when it is being shilled.

+1

I have seen multiple threads pertaining to Glare, on various auto/bike-based forums. They almost always turn into a flame war initiated by some newbie member who ends up being a Glare solicitor. Multiple threads, multiple warnings, multiple irked moderators, and multiple login ID's from the Glare solicitor (all while pretending to be an unattached, random consumer).

The threads usually ended up locked with the solicitor and all of his logins banished, and everyone else giggling about this "miracle" Glare stuff. Frankly, I'm surprised some tool like Vince Offer (of Shamwow fame) has never had an infomercial pushing the stuff at 3AM on weekday mornings.

Perhaps they are legitimate products, but they seem to suffer from an odd combination of underhanded multi-level marketing, and little-to-no market presence.

They have a reputation here for sending legal documents anytime someone says something negative about their product or company. Personally, I would rather the company and their product not be discussed here. They are not friends of Autopia.org.

Apologies, David.

Amend my previous post as you see fit.

Hmmm, and one of the people I was looking at to detail my car was going to use it.....

Not sure if I like that idea anymore after hearing that....

Thanks as always!

I signed up to use their product and it did get ugly. Swissvax is my friend.

After testing their products for a few months, I was impressed with the results. However, the way they do business is nothing less than insulting. They talked me into buying the warranty cards along with another few thousand dollars in product to be a "dealer", then a few months later called to get a re-order. When I asked if I could send the warranty cards back in exchange for product, he said "you aren't supposed to have those, those are for car dealers"! I reminded him that HE sold them to me and why won't he take them back. He said he couldn't because they were already in the computer. So, good product, but sold by snakes. There are tons of other products out there to choose from. Thanks for nothing Glare!

I read on a Harley forum where one of their "chemist" mentioned legal action against a few who badmouthed their products. :werd:

Whatever happen to freedom of speech?
