Anyone use Dynabuffer Dual Action Polisher?

I believe that this is the professional tool that CMA talks about here .

It features a 14mm dia offset orbit which maybe means that it may be able to remove almost as many defects that a rotary can but without the swirl marks and possible damage.

Has anyone used one of these? I would probably get one but it uses an air compressor and that's just not gonna work for mobile detailing.

Dynabuffer is the tool of choice in the OEM level (ford, chevy, chrysler). It does work awsome, but youre correct, not good for mobile detailing.

Keep in mind that the Dynabrade and tools like it take great gobs of air to run. Itâ€â„¢s not uncommon for industrial factories to have multiple 50hp compressors.

Also, any tool can leave swirls and damage if itâ€â„¢s not used correctly. If you make the switch to air power be sure to check with an expert (like bufferman71) on pad selection.

PC.

Curious. I got a call today from someone wanting to "know where you buy your supplies, do you use the Dynabrade buffer?"

Altho I do have a similar (Mirka Bulldog) unit, I've never heard of the DynaBrade...

I found the call to be curious. He was oriented towards aircraft, which I've recently started doing...

Now I see this post. Hmmm...

Interesting. At 90 psi, it would take a lot of air to run. Not really practical for mobile unless you have a pretty big air compressor.

I wish there was a electric version with that kind of power in a DA/RO buffer.
