Anyone use Ardex products?

I am doing a total over haul of my car care products. I'm doing this mostly because of this forum and all the great tips I have learned. I plan on strictly ordering most if not all of my car care products online.

I was wondering if anyone has used the Eimann Fabrik Power Wash+, Hi Intensity Cleaner, Black Opal Dressing, and the Detail Spray.

I have to start some where and I figured I would start off with some of the Eimann Fabrik products. Now are these some of the top products or are there better one's?

I have the car wash covered, the wheel care, and part of the quick detailing done. What other products do you recommend to keep my paint looking brand new?

Hi Intensity is great stuff. Perfect for cleaning tires and wheels. I just got some Power Wash+ the other day, but have not tried it yet. I know some people here who use it, and the love it. I know many that dont like the Black Opal though, hard to apply.

Most of the EF products are great, you won't go wrong with them.

Good Luck!!

P.S.- Get some Klasse, you will love the results.

I think based on a review I just read the Black Opal is a bit hard to put on so I am going to hold off on that and try to do more research and find another good tire black.

As for waxes/sealants I'm leaning towards Klasse. But I have one question which Klasse do I get? Do I get the AIO and the Sealant?

Also any recommendations for the tire black and a good protectant?

Apply the AIO first to help clean the paint and lay a good base of acrylic down. Then keep layering the Sealant Glaze(this is all acrylic with no cleaners). People agree five layers should be the most before dimishing returns. If you do not like the super candy coated shine(some people love it, others dislike it), you can add Blitz on top of the Sealant Glaze to deepen the shine. 303 is a great protectant with UV protection and leaves a low gloss finish.

AIO and SG complement each other very well, would definitely recommend getting both. Depending on the condition of your paint, you may only need 1 coat of AIO and then layer on the SG as many times as you like. Waxman suggests Blitz wax as well, a carnuba topper, totally up to you if you want to use it. Will certainly add depth to your shine.

As for tire dressings, you have a couple of options depending on your goal. For a low/medium matte finish; 303 Aerospace Protectant (also great to use for your interior using a foam app and buffing out with a clean towel and exterior trim) or Zaino Z-16 Tire Protectant.

As for quick detailers (QD), if you will be using the Klasse system with the carnuba topper, most will lean towards QDs that have carnuba in them, eg Eiman Fabrik (EF) Clear Pearl, Pinnacle Crystal Mist, or One Grand Show Off.

Good luck!!

On the advice of the forum, I recently bought the EF "Value Package" (or whatever its called) from our forum's sponsor...... Extremely happy with it. I've been using the window cleaner for a year, the Hi-Intensity Cleaner works wonders, especially on my tires....the upholsterly cleaner works great too! I used the clear pearl detailing spray this weekend while applying a layer of SG and liked the results as well. All in all, great products....except the Black Opal....found it messy and a little too glossy. I think I have comfortably settled on 303 for my tires. Very easy to use and leaves a nice, low gloss finish that doesnt sling.

I like the PowerWash, love the Clear Pearl and Clear Vision. Not all that impressed with the Hi-Intensity - it's "good" but I have had better for wheel and tire cleaning, namely Eagle One and Top Of The Line products.

I've used the PowerWash+, Hi Intensity, and the Clear Pearl and love all of them. I suspect the the rest of the EF line is similar.

You can read my PowerWash+ (PW+) review in the Reviews forum. The executive summary: I like it a lot!

The Hi Intensity (HI) is excellent as well. A real power horse without being harsh. It works on almost any surface.

The Clear Pearl (CP) is also quite nice to work with and frankly I use it often in combination with Meguiar's Quick Detail Spray. The QD spray is great at removing bugs! The CP is nice because the carnauba content help bring out some richness/warmth of the color and maintains any carnauba that you may have on the car. I did find the CP difficult to use in high humidity environments (ie South Florida), but I found that I just needed to buff more. Any hazing is easily removed.

For Klasse, you can read my notes on application by taking a look at this thread (my entry is about 1/2 way down the page): http://216.147.22.29/forum/showthread.php3?threadid=1143

Good Luck!!

I apply Black Opal by putting about a dozen "short squirts" on a tire swipe ( cut down to fit my 45-series tires) and wiping on the tire. No mess, and the finish is dark, but not what I would call "ghetto".

I just received some Ardex freebies and have never used their products. Any of you guys and gals familiar with their product line?
