Anyone Tried Any of the New GLW Series Car-Care Products from 3D?

This question comes about as I was perusing the older thread about wheel cleaners and the OP said he is finally trying 3D`s Wheel Cleaner
Reference:Concentrated Wheel Cleaners- What`s your preference?

SO, I look for this product on the Autopia Store: Not there. Seems that there are very FEW 3D products being offered on the store website.
HUMMMM??? Seems like a continuing saga of what is happening to the store and its relocation (or allocation) of a Texas distribution center. But I digress......

SO, I look on the 3D website; Yep a September 23,2023 announcement of this NEW product line.
Look at the info. My first question: What does "GLW" stand for? Nothing in the website info tells me how or why this "GLW" name was picked for this new product line series. Just a curious Captain Obvious question. Yes, I called the Customer Service department today (Fri, 03 Nov23@ 10:00 AM CDT) to ask exactly that, but they are CLOSED (Golfing with dentists, maybe?....Cynical, Captain Obvious, just plain cynical!) ANYWAY, if someone finds the answer to this question let us know.

BACK to the original question: What are these products like? Seems like a lot of them are the Si02/ceramic offerings. So if you have bought and tried any of them, let us Autopians know.
You can check them out at: 3D GLW Series | Premium Car Detailing Products – 3D Car Care
(If this is a conflict of Autopa Forum rules to post such a link as determined by the admins, please remove it. I would not think so since it IS posted in the 3D sub-forum. Just doin` them a favor)

Funny no one has even replied to this question.
Using a Google search, I did see in the AutoGeek forum that this same question was asked: What does "GLW" stand for?
Did learn from 3D`s "About Us" tab that 3D stands for "Detailing Driven Developers" (One acronym solved!)

Also seems that some think this is 3D`s venture or foray into the mass market with this product line.
Cannot wait to see it on AutoZone or Walmart brick-and-mortar store shelves for those of us who like Over-The-Counter (OTC) availability. (Keep dreamin`,Captain Obvious!)

Did not know that 3D is now owned by a private investment group, Automotive Technologies Group. HMMMMM....

Man I used to love 3D products back when they were giving the stuff away to members here.

OK, Dan, a Captain Obvious question:
If you loved them (3D products) then, why would you not love them now? Or has there been a fallout, or should I say a replacement, of 3D products with other manufacturer`s products?
And which 3D products do you still use or like, and which one`s have fallen out of grace that you are no longer using them and WHY?

For myself I have never tried or used a 3D product, Tempted to on a few occasions, but continued to Megs Pro-Detailer Line in gallon jugs (and some of the 32 ounce RTU products) or Megs Pro-Mirror Glaze products (Blaspheme in a 3D topics tab!!!)

For those Autopians who are "seriously interested" in this new GLW -series of car-care products, you can buy a kit of all of them to try out:
3D GLW Series Exterior Kit - Leather Interior
– 3D Car Care
(Yeah, somehow the kit is mislabeled within the 3D website. Not sure why?!)

Lonnie, they are great when they are free. When I`m spending my money, there is other stuff that is better.

I`ve only used their bug remover and the pink car wash soap. Honestly, I`m not impressed with either one. Like others have said, I like other products in both those categories better.

I just looked at some the GLW products at Detailed Image. No indication there either as to what makes the GLW products different or what part of the market they are aimed at.

I understood the GLW ("glow") line to be a consumer/retail product line, as opposed to the pro/prosumer traditional 3D products.

Not knocking 3D, I like their stuff. Have the GLW Ordor spray, nice product. But strictly from a retail `looks` view, the labeling would get lost on retail shelves. I like the labelling, looks all business. But in retail shelves I think alot of weekend shoppers may overlook them for the labels that jump out off the shelf at them.
Again, I personally like the labels of the line.

Sooo, are the GLW products cheaper and different formulations of 3D professional car-care products?
Mequiar`s has been doing this for years between their consumer line at big box store and their Mirror Glaze (pick a number) professional line at paint and auto parts stores. Not bad marketing but as you stated, who is targeted as the intended consumer.

The only one I`ve tried is the Ceramic Matte Tire. It`s outstanding. Matte-finish, easy to apply, lasts at least 3 weeks, including a few rain storms.

Thanks, Mike, (The Guz).
