Bought this blue Propel pad about two weeks ago. Used it twice at speeds of not over 4 on the PC and washed it in Dawn. Anyone have problem like this? I'm going to contact Exceldetail and see if they can do something for me. Can I glue this back down with something???

Never had that happen with a Propel pad. Used to have that problem with Meguairs pads about a year and a half ago but not since.

I'm sure Patrick will make it right.

I had an orange pad do this earlier in the year. patrick replaced it straight away. excellent customer service. in fact, I placed an order last saturday to round out my 7"propel collection and try the 4" sampler kit, and the order arrived on monday. I've yet for any online store to act so quickly.

I also just received me new order and got 3 Orange, 3 Yellow, 3 Green, and then the new 4" ones as well with 4 Orange, 4 Green, and 2 Blue. I didn't care for the first ones that died because I figured it was from alot of use...but if these give me any trouble, I might actually ask Pat to replace them. They feel very strong, though, so I'm not worried in the least bit...

I have an orange pad that is doing it, and just being lucky i guess, i found some spray adheasive or something, that says will not degrade foam, so i am hoping to become a pad medic here shortly :)

I had two green ones that did that about 2 months ago. I purchased them and then used them two times, then the backing started coming off. All the other Propel pads have not shown me any of this delaminating of the backing.

Bottom line is I contacted Patrick and he immediately replaced.

Subsequent backing problems have not materialized.

Give Patrick a call.

Got an e mail and P/message from Patrick. Offered to replace the pad and throw in a MF for my trouble. Wish all retailers were this cooperative!

Funny, I contacted Patrick about a blue and yellow pad that did this to me. He offered advice on how to use the pads, but did not replace them. No big deal. Still a great vendor that I've ordered from since.

As a side note I recently tried a pad purchased from Autogeek (stiff black backing) I like them a little better than my propel pads. But you can't beat Propel for price.
