Anyone have any experience using Meguiars D103+ on leather?

I was using some Leather Masters Rapid Clean on my tan leather Odyssey seats and it didnt seem to be working as well as I hoped. It was cleaning ok, but the seats are very soiled.

I decided to try some D103+, 10-1, to see if it worked any better/faster. It seemed to work really, really fast. Maybe too fast. It is taking alot of the grime up but I am worried it is taking the leather coating with it. My mf was turning almost brown.

Am I being too cautious or should I just go ahead and clean them up with the D103+?

I've used it a couple of times at 10:1, but only on really nasty cars. But if Optimum Power Clean is safe at 3:1, and verified by people I trust, then I don't believe APC+ at 10:1 would be bad.

Yeah that makes sense. I guess what I can do is use the Rapid Clean on most of the leather and use the D103+ on the really grimy spots.

Sometimes, when you're faced with horribly stain leather, your method might be the most efficient one.

Your method is fine.....but you'd be advised to rinse off the 103 residue as much as possible. Spritz some water and wipe off with lots of towels. Never spray it directly onto the dirty leather. Spray onto a soft MF and do a small area while wiping off IMMEDIATELY.

Also, this method should never be used on any repaired leather, as the repaired portion could be damaged by 103. Always test the drivers seat's thigh support area first as it's most subjected to wear and tear, and could hv been repaired before.

Ok, as long as I am not doing any damage, I will go ahead and clean them up. Should I even use the LM Rapid Clean? Or just save it for a once a year cleaning?
