I've got a case for all my stuff except my PC which sits at the top of my microfiber/ misc. towels case. I currently keep my pads in the cardboard box CMA sent them in but am looking for something I can keep the PC and my pads in. Anyone have anything good? How about just a PC case? I did a search but couldn't find anything in the first few pages.

Nick at Detailer's Paradise has the Porter Cable case. It's excellent.THe PC sits securely and there's room for some pads, little product bottles etc.

I think there is a PC specific case at costaltool, not sure though. I took a large rubbermaid box and epoxied a piece of MDF as a divider. 1 side holds all my pads (in freezer bags), the other side holds my PC/Rotary.

yea, that's what i'm thinking of doing southern.

anyone have a picture of the one from Nick opened. How many pads can you really fit in it?

When I bought my PC from Lowes, I bought a $8 plastic tool box. All my pads, machine, and even more fits in with ease.

I got mine there as well. nice case. Holds the PC well and it holds a few pads too. Here's the link for it at Detailer's Paradise:

Case For PC

Deanski had a pretty cool setup over the weekend that I saw...Wait for him to chime in about it, I think it was a rubbermaid or something he found to work well.

Do you mean that clear Sterilite container, blue lid with handle? I have those, they are decent for carrying products around

is DP's case made by PC? I can't read the picture. If so I wonder if we can find it somewhere cheaper. ANyone have a picture of it opened?

Yes, it's a PC case. Here's the outside of the case:

....and here's a view of the inside with the PC resting in it's craddle. I can fit three 6" pads in the case with the PC.

wow, you can even fit it in there w/ the handle on. Do you have a picture of how the pads fit?

I'm gonna contact PC and get a part #, maybe we can find it somewhere cheaper then $30 :)

I didn't take a shot with the pads in there. However, I can tell you that two of them fit on the lower left and right corners(looking at the photo) and the third one fits in the upper left corner. You might be able to fit another one in the other corner but I've not tried that yet. Three seemed to be enough pads to stuff in there.

I got mine at Lowes. Home Depot carries them too. They look like aluminum briefcases. Some have movable dividers the others have foam in them. Both set up for the PC very nice. Only $20.

I'll try to post a picture in the next day or so...
