Anyone familiar with Labocosmetica products?

Hey guys,

My local supplier of car care products introduced me to two Labocosmetica products. Cupido Nano Sealant and Perfecto 2.0 Gloss Quick Detailer. I've got the Cupido on the G Wagon now, can't speak for its protection, but it definitely deepened the gloss noticeably of the Twilight Blue.

Wondering if anyone here is familiar with this line and what your professional opinions are.....

Many thanks!

Labocosmetica is the detailer brand from the Italian tunnel wash chemical supplier Mafra. They have a broad line that has been well received here.

I believe it's fair to say that they are responsible for the modern interpretation of the 3pH wash, what we used to call here the ABC system, which was an alkaline wash followed by an acid decon, and then a neutral pH wash.

Sorry, Accumulator...what we here at Autopia call the ABC system. Or, what 99.9 percent of the people looking for car wash at AutoZone would call "what in the world are you talking about?"

Since FK is essentially defunct, and VG does not have their internet store anymore, and the smallest ABC is available is gallons in a case of 4 (not even a kit with 1 gallon of each, as far as I can see), and I can't find anyone selling the product online that might be breaking up the cases, it would seem to be out of reach to enthusiasts. We did have some threads talking about this and someone had talked to them, probably Bill D. I know I talked to them at one time about the Custom Wheel Cleaner. It may be that "we" can call them up and order cases by phone.

At any rate, the Labocosmetica 3pH is a bit different, the acid part is a dilutable wash unlike "B" which is applied neat. The whole system is gentler (and presumably less effective). In fact Labo makes a big deal about most or all of their products being VDA-certified, which is a German standard which is supposed to ensure that detailing chemicals don't damage auto surfaces. That may have started for them with the tunnel wash products.

Is this Labocosmetica (sounds like a cross between an Italian supercar and a mascara company.. only you, Captain Obvious!) product line available from multiple area-select (limited territory) resellers OR the (IE, one) USA company/factory distributor only?

It's available through multiple channels, although perhaps not the full line at all of them. I thought originally the Labocosmetica USA site was run by Carzilla, but it looks like Parks Car Care in Charlotte, NC is Labo USA.
