Anyone coming to Scottsdale for Barret Jackson?

It's really tempting. I was at the first Harrah's collection auction in the 80's....haven't been to one since. I'd like to go just to see the Circus!

There was a gorgeous lime green 70 at the Silver Auction. Held this past weekend in Fort McDowell, AZ. Biding stopped at $32,500 and didn't sell.
 
Sure, got'ta see if I can get a 275 GTB/4 like the yellow one they sold a couple shows back. :D

Thanks for posting that PIC! I didnâ€â„¢t think GM let those concept cars out of their collection. That is a very nice piece, but for 3 mil????????
 
Apparently it had been sold to E.L. Cord shortly after it's Futureama tour.



Craig Jackson said in an interview that they'd sold it to the person who sold it yesterday some years ago...and that the seller had hoped it would hit 500k. 3 Mil...wow.



But...the guy bidding for the museum was an idiot who let his emotions get away from him. I'll bet he could have bought it up to 200k less than he did if he'd kept his sh*t together.

The winning bidder was buying bunches of cars with his "unlimited" budget. Of course he wanted to be seen with that goofy red hat and Ferrari jacket
