It is a company called Diamond Detail in texas. I am just wondering because i dont completly agree with everything that the article says.

Scotabir: The member you are referring to is the one that posted the question. I think he's wondering if there is another business with his name or if false statements were made of him.

no it isn't false statements about me.... i am in rochester and have an "ing" at the end of detail.. I just dont like some of the things in the article, so i though i would share it. This company is in Texas, MANY MANY miles away from rochester NY

It seems that they are going to use a clay bar and charge for multiple steps of treatment :( I can see why you dont agree with some of the statements made...

A lot of people who call themselves detailers are really just car washer who will wax a car and have no theory behind their statements.

First off, great site. Very professional.

If you're worried that there may be confusion now, or any time in the future, get a federal trademark on your name. Once you have that you will be able to force them to change their name.

pm me if interested....I might know an attorney who chould help.

Hey, I go to school in El Paso (I live in Juarez, Mexico), I'll probably check them out Monday or Tuesday before class, and I'll tell you what I think!

They are wrong about most drink stains. Coke, tea and coffee stains usually come out. Red and orange stains probably won't so they are right about that.

Other than that, seems like decent advice.

One thing to keep in mind, the article was written by a reporter and not the owner of the shop. It's very common for reporters to take notes and then misinterpret the meaning of what the person being interviewed said. I wouldn't worry about.:D
