I saw this at Target on sale for a couple bucks. I thought about picking some up because it was so cheep and I don't have any "metal restorer" products in my elephantine (and growing) collection of car care products, but I thought I'd check with the Autopians first.
1) Does it work? Does it "restore" or even effectively polish the metal? Or is something like FI-II just as good to use on metal as this?
2) Is it safe? I didn't see anything on the label about clear coated wheels or anything like that, so I wasn't sure. Otherwise, I might have bought the bottle of All Metal Restorer.
Thanks! If I get some positive responses, I'll go ahead and pay the $3 for it!! (It was $6.99.)
BTW, I went ahead and bought some of the Turtle Wax tire gel that was mentioned yesterday or the day before. It was also a little over $3. They had some deals at Target!
