Any worries to polishing blended paint job?

Well I got my car back from the body shop the second time after blending the fenders they never did after painting my hood. When I inspected it, of course the fenders were nicely swirled from his "polishing". I assume the clear in this area could be thin since it's blended in. Should I be at all worried about the blended areas of the fenders when I polish?
 
I've never had any problems with blended repaints. If you are working via PC, you shouldn't have anything to worry about.
 
Grimm- I'd take it a little easier than normal at the point where the blend fades to nothing, and I'd consider waiting a little while before you do it. Or at least see if the paint is still really soft...maybe you can polish now but maybe you oughta wait a few weeks, I've had them go both ways.
 
Yeah, I'm planning to wait until spring. No sense trying it now when the snow and ice will add to the swirls over the next couple months.
