any uses for 000 grade steel wool?

I've heard of using 0000 for cleaning water spots on glass but i found some hook and loop 000 steel wool pads in my house. Just wondering if i could put them to use in anyway. Wetsanding? color sanding? lol trying to be creative

IMO I think it would be to course for detailing work . 0000 works good for just about everything you'll need steal wool for .

I've had great success with removing swirls with 0 grade steel wool.

:wavey You might want to try Bronze Wool for cleaning water spots on glass. It will not scratch and will not leave the steel particles that will eventually rust.

You could probably use it as a first step on any really badly oxidized metal, along with a good polish (Wenol comes to mind).
