Any OTC clay that works well?

What kind of clay would you all reccomend that can be found at local sotres that works well? I have really only seen Meguiars and Mothers, but is one really better than the other? I am not looking for something that is agressive since I do not want to have to use the PC after claying, I just want to remove any kind of built up stuff.

Aside from having more aggressive clay, I have the Meg's white clay that comes in the package w/ the detailer and a mf. It does a good job for light to medium contamination. I can use it on Audi paint and not have to polish after, softer paints may be a different story.

I feel that the Mothers is a bit more aggressive than the Blue Clay Magic but doesnt last quite as long.

The Clay Magic Blue is very similar to the Sonus Green in my experience.

Huh, I woulda expected the ClayMagic Blue to be more aggressive than that, not that I've tried it...

I found that for tougher contaminates, it frustrated me a bit by how mild it was.

However, I love the texture and it works great on some of the less stubborn contaminates.

Maybe someone else can chime in and agree/dispute my experiences.

craigdt- I know just what you mean about the "so gentle it can be frustrating". It can be a fine line between aggressive enough for real decontamination and so aggressive that marring is likely.

I've tried Clay Magic blue and Megs blue... both are decent.

Megs blue is like $21 shipped on Amazon for 200g.
