Quick question do any of you use tents during the summer and winter?

I tried the pop-up-tent but it was a pain in the but and requires at least 2 people to put it. I'm now looking into inflatable tent but not sure how durable they are.

What type of tents are you using?
Who manufactured it?
Is it easy to put and tack down?
Weight?

Thanks

I use a 12 by 12 pop up that I got at Sport Authority. I do it by myself. To open strech as much as possible then go under and push the corner and lock .

I saw this yesterday during my search detailz. This is way out of my budget right now but it is in my favorites. The pop-up tent didn't work for me. That was $100 down the drain.

I just found a site that looks promising. I want something light weight but durable and relatively easy to put up and take down. I'm looking to use it during winter and summer. Here is the site I was looking at:Air commercial inflatable tents, portable easy inflated tent, outdoor inflatables

From the information I would have to use a blower but that won't be a problem since I have a 4500 watt generator. It also looks like it has a floor cover which may allow me to reclaim water. Water reclamation is not a big issue in Birmingham since our water system is one of the best in the country. Plus if they start inforcing something I will already be ahead of the game.

The possible downside to this tent maybe durability, time to blow up and take down but I'm going to call and check their product out.

I use the one from Wal Mart........87.00......10X10.....was perfect this summer. I'm getting another to add to for next year.

It was this year. Around April...give or take a month. Pep Boys always has good deals, just have to look for them.
We do not have a Pep Boys around here, so I dorve an hour and a half round trip to pick it up:cool:

I know that one of the Wal Marts here had a few on clearance. They were 10x10's as well. Opriginal price, marked to 75, and then down to 50. I went back to buy 2, and they were gone.

No Pep Boys here in Canada that I know of, but I can try Wal-Mart and Canadian Tire, or maybe Home Depot or some other such outlet. Maybe I can talk my daughter who lives and works in San Francisco to see if she can find and send me one; not that I need it just yet as I'm a super newby, lol. You got a helluva deal as the link I was on show retail price for the 10x10 at from 400's to 600's US. That's some discount you got.

There are MANY sites I found after doing a search on EZ UP Tents. Here is just one (not the one I first saw): Caravan Canopy Pop Up Tents - EliteDeals.com

Some are a little cheaper on this link, but still in the hundreds.

Here's another: Priced from $119 (not too bad) to almost $700. MY E-Z UP, Authorized Dealer and Retailer of the World Famous E-Z UP Instant Shelter

Thanks guys: Lots of deals on ebay.ca where they show list at $599 or so but sell for around $100 CAD plus shipping etc.

See page full of it: eBay Canada – New and used EZ UP Tents, Patio Grilling, Parts Accessories on eBay.ca

Here's a picture of a blue EZ UP Tent for under $100 CAD. Is this the type of tent you guys are talking about?

Ohh Thats nice.

I've got myself a E-Z-Up tent. Its not really hard to put up by yourself. Just pull it out as much as you can, Raise each corner up and your done.

I used it just about everyday when i was detailing fulltime.

I thought it was nice too until I read the shipping info. More than $60 US plus another $20 US to ship to me in Canada. It suddenly has lost its luster for me, lol.

Check out Sports Authority or the like. I got lucky and caught the end-of-summer deal and bought a couple at less than 1/2 price.
