and me rocking out haha...

mainly hard rock stuff, but i get down wiht some funk and hip hop as well... my favorite drummer/ biggest influence is chad sexton of 311... but im no where near his caliber..... i recently sold my 7 string, i have a 6 string acoustic/electric that i never play and lots of other stuff haha...

i love the drums (use to be into them as much as i'm into car care here on autopia), and use to play but kinda fell off the loop. still have have my gear though! nice tama rockstar kit :)

its actually half of my old 9 peice kit... i loved having 2 bass drums and lots of toms but it was a PITA to lug to shows ... so i got rid of half of it and now love this set up

I use to play in a band. I have a Pearl SMX Green Burst set with a Pearl drum rack and hardware. Pearl double bass pedal Ziljian and Sabian Cymbals. 80's Hair metal stuff and newer rock - 3doors down, creed, silvertide GnR Whitesnake stuff like that.

Thanks CHAOS. I got this set from the Memphis Drum Shop. UPS delievered it after I went to work one night. I drive up that morning and its sitting on my front porch in the neighborhood I lived in. Luckily I knew everyone around there. I wanted to shoot a UPS man. QuickShine works really good cleaning them up hehehe

Just sold my Candy red Pearl Export a few weeks ago. Played for 20 years. Started out with a Gretsch white mother of pearl set.

that's where it's at imo. i can't stand all these custom drum companies, i'd rather take a Gretsch, Ludwig, or Slingerland any day of the week... :up

i guess im a little "newage" for you guys... im a big fan of portnoy, sexton and peart, buddy rich is on a completely different plane tho.. its way too different of a style to compare... as far as drums go, i started on a pearl forum, then bought the tama monster, and i think the next step for me is going to pick up a OCDP set... i love the fact that i can get it in any finish, but who knows perhaps ill get sponsored down the road
