After reading the threads about the Vroom products found at Target, I immediately went there tonight to try out some of their stuff. The first target that I went to I bought the 12 and 2 pack of microfiber towels, microfiber wash mitt, a pack of terry applicator pads (not made by Vroom) and a gallon of Gold Class car wash.
I was looking for the Vroom tire shine and APC but this particular Target store did not have those so I ended up going to a different Target, which had the tire shine and APC. Both stores had the protectant, but I didn't get that because I still have a whole bottle of 303 Aerospace Protectant that I really like. I also ended up getting the wash bucket with the two wheels and grit catcher on the bottom and a Sterilite plastic storage container for my MF towels. I really like how the wash bucket has a little strainer on the front so that I can keep my body only wash mitt there until I finish doing the wheels and vice versa. I'm really looking forward to trying these products out at my next wash outing.
I do have some questions though.... What do most of you use the APC for? Perhaps engine and wheel cleaning? Is it safe to use on interior surfaces? If so, do I need to dilute it with water and what ratio? Also, how shiny is the Vroom tire shine? I'm more into the matte look without all that excess gloss, so I'm hoping that this product provides what I'm looking for. I also saw the Meguiars NXT tire spray in a can, but haven't heard any reviews on that yet, so I decided to pass on it for now. Anyone have experience with it?
