Another rendering and pics of the finished truck...

YNOT

Poorboys Rules!
This is a new rendering I just completed of my buddies F150. I had done the design and the paintwork on it a couple years back for him. Well he just picked up a new set of 22" Centerline 'Smoothies' so I decided to do a new rendering of his truck (plus I wanted the rendering for my website).

Anyway, here's my new rendering done in Illustrator...

And here are a couple shots of the truck with the new tires/wheels...

This truck is pristine...it's got a Procharger, 3-4" dropped suspension tinted glass with colored stars cut into the tint, Cervinis hood, ground effects and much, much more. He just had the truck dyno'd but I forget how much HP he's turnin' out.

Hope you like it...my rendering and his truck.;)

Since I'm postin...here's a wallpaper I made for him too...

I can't say that I'm a fan at all of the appearance of the truck, but I certianly respect the artwork. I wish I had Illustrator skills like that. :bigups

I with you on this one...who makes those rims though?

They are some radical looking rims

I like the look of both the rendered art work and the real life truck. Both are top notch!!!

As an aside....sorry my wife has not gotten back with you yet. All I can say is she is in back to school mode.

I dont care for the rims either. Needs lifted 2-4 inches above original height, better wheels and tires, hook onto an aluminum stock trailer and lets go to a breeding cattle aucyion or show. That would turnsome heads when ulling into the show or auction grounds.RANDAL

I'm a big fan of mechanical components having a compromise of both form and function. While he may like the look of the wheels, I'm not sure he'll be too happy with the reduced braking. I'm not sure if I like the look of the truck, but it really doesn't matter if I do or don't because I'm not the one driving it. The illustrations are very well done though.

Wow...I'm really surprised that so many of you don't like the look of the truck. I really like it a lot and figured that being a 'car detailing' site many people here would dig it.

Thanks though for not just totally 'bashing' it like I've seen so many people do to other peoples cars on other car forums. So many people just feel that if it wasn't done the way 'they' would do it then it just isn't right and that is so ridiculous. I prefer to see unique original ideas and I think this truck has got it.

That's okay though...he loves it and has poured tons of time and money into it and that's all that matters right?

Anyone else care to comment?

Oh...and thanks for the nice comments on my rendering.:bigups

I didn't put the most important part of my comment in the previous post. Your rendering looks great even if the guy doesn't have great taste in rims.
