This was in pretty bad shape. The idea was to get it look really nice. Swirls, holograms removed, most scretches are also gone but not 100% of them. The owner was coming home from Afghanistan yesterday. His friend (my boddy) did this a s a surprise for him.

Clear was rock hard. Man, all these BMWs! :D The outcome was pretty good I think. Rained right after I finished the interior/engine, and didin't take any befores. You shpould have seen the paint. I though the color was flat black.

Here are the pictures.

Holy shiny interior batman.

You did a nice job busting those swirls, paint is very reflective now.

What was your process? :goodjob

GREAT job on the paint! What did you use on the door handle trim? Back-To-Black?

Interior was too glossy for my taste (but I have to do 2-3 Bimmers a week for resale and the owner wants flat appearing leather).

Here's a typical interior finish in our shop.

Nice One...the owner should be very happy.

Beautiful job on the paint. :)

Like the others, the interior is a bit shiny for my tastes but I've had customers like that look, so I give it to them.

Thanks everyone!

Oooops! I forgot the after pictures for comparison.

Btw, the pictures are way too shiny for some reason. In person everyone loves the look. did saturate the leather because it was very dry.

Door handles get polish/sealant in my details.

totoland mach, what do you use on interiors.

Here's the process the shop uses:

1. Shop vac the seats and carpet.

2. Boar's hair brush + mixture of Dishwashing Liquid soap 2 parts to 10 in warm water spray bottle. If the seats are badly soiled, use leather cleaner instead of soapy solution.

3. Starting at top of seat, work approx. 1/3 of the seat scrubbing with the soapy solution.

4. Terry cloth towel dry AND air hoze with small nozzle to remove solution from seat seams.

5. Plastic (door panels, seat backs, switches, etc). Solution of 1/3rd APC to water in spray bottle. Scrub with boar's hair brush, wipe with towel + air nozzle.

6. Steam carpets and mats with pro steamer/vac

7. Clean Windows (I typically use Meguiar's NXT glass cleaner)

Overall, the interior results in an "as new" appearance. I talked to a person that re-dyes high end cars for dealers and that's the recommended process for leather and plastic.
