Another Happy QEW User

Today the weather is Pa was pretty decent to get out and try some QEW that I just purchased. It was windy but the temps were like 50 ish.

I followed some Autopia members advice and used QEW in the following way.

1) Bucket#1 with 2 gallons of water and two (2) capfuls of QEW and 1 oz of Megs FI QD

2) Bucket#2 rinse bucket 2 gallons of water

3) Wash with 100% Cotton Chenille mitt

4) Spray Bottle with .5 oz and 16 oz of QEW

5) Dry with Waffle Weave MF and Pakshak 24 x 24 MF towel

I all I can say is WOW. This stuff is so easy to use. I sprayed each panel with the QEW so that I wouldn't be wiping against a dry surface. I was washing my Ford F150 which was relatively clean but still needed a good cleaning.

I noticed that the rinse water did get dirty and towards the end there was some residue in the bottom of the QEW bucket. I did have some QEW left over when done.

The results were fantastic :up

Definitely something to have in your winter detailing arsenal. The weather is supposed to be just as nice tomorrow. Can't wait to try it out on my Toyota 4Runner.

Congrats Pat. Glad it worked well for you too! :xyxthumbs

Just one picky detail though... the mix ratio is supposed to be *1* gallon of water for 2 capfuls of QEW. If you were using 2 gallons of water to 2 capfuls you were only using it at half its recommended concentration. But hey, if it still worked...

I still can't get over how many people now use and like QEW given the amount of initial resistance to the product when I first mentioned it a few years ago on Autopia. ;)

I guess the old adage "if it sounds too good to be true..." is deeply ingrained here. In this instance though, QEW works as advertised!

Glad it worked well for you Pat.

Here you go..Hope it helps..
