Today the weather is Pa was pretty decent to get out and try some QEW that I just purchased. It was windy but the temps were like 50 ish.
I followed some Autopia members advice and used QEW in the following way.
1) Bucket#1 with 2 gallons of water and two (2) capfuls of QEW and 1 oz of Megs FI QD
2) Bucket#2 rinse bucket 2 gallons of water
3) Wash with 100% Cotton Chenille mitt
4) Spray Bottle with .5 oz and 16 oz of QEW
5) Dry with Waffle Weave MF and Pakshak 24 x 24 MF towel
I all I can say is WOW. This stuff is so easy to use. I sprayed each panel with the QEW so that I wouldn't be wiping against a dry surface. I was washing my Ford F150 which was relatively clean but still needed a good cleaning.
I noticed that the rinse water did get dirty and towards the end there was some residue in the bottom of the QEW bucket. I did have some QEW left over when done.
The results were fantastic :up
Definitely something to have in your winter detailing arsenal. The weather is supposed to be just as nice tomorrow. Can't wait to try it out on my Toyota 4Runner.
