Another group Foam Gun buy?

Oh, I see. I'm thinking too much of the cheapies at Home Depot.

yes there are decent models out there that are a little cheaper with plastic parts, and these will probably be fine for occassional use, but the ones we ordered had brass working parts and should last longer and be able to also withstand stronger chemicals should the need arise to use them. I would also suggest thoroughly rinsing out the guns with water after each use to keep them nice and clean ...not like most of you OCD people wouldn't anyhow :innocent:

Yes, I'd be interested in knowing too. I spoke about it around home here and now one has appeared on my Christmas list to buy.

Hi Steve,

Does the gun come with the quick disconnect fittings.

I THOUGHT YOU WOULD BE RESTING :bump .
Any chance you might take a lap top with you in surgery  i'm not sure you gonna be able to relax or stay away.

. . .
I bought my quick connects @ Lowes, but I'm sure HD would have similar . . .
1 ea. Garden Plus Brass 5/8 Universal Quick Connect (SKU# 102564) @ $ 1.97 - for the Fireman's Nozzle
1 ea. Gilmour Premium Poly Shut Off (SKU# 99470) @ $ 3.98
We threaded the Quick Connect from the Sprayer Nozzle to the end of the Gilmour Shut Off Valve.

I' m currently in theNorth East and made it to go shopping today. In Sears they had both the quick disconnects and the cut off valves. IIRC, the quick disconnects ( male and female set) are about $5 and the valves are $3 each. So, it appears they are available here, at least for some time. I'm not sure if they replenish their stock during winter though.

The foam guns ordered through Poorboy come with a brass quick connect fitting already installed between the trigger and the dispenser. I added a second connector to the bottom of my trigger so that I could quickly attach/remove it from the hose too.
