Another 2014 Shelby gt500 Atlanta car detail | cQuartz Finest | self-healing clear bra installation

Jean-Claude

Keeper of the beautiful
2014 FORD Shelby gt500 convertible with 210 miles

The owner from Atlanta reached out to me looking for a quote on clear bra installation and a car detail and after getting a good sense of what type of protection and maintenance he will want for the car, we also discussed cQuartz Finest. He knew there were options for other coating systems but LOVED how cQuartz Finest looks on clean paint and the protection it provided.

He also wanted the wheels removed for 100% application on the wheels and calipers. tq'd back to factory spec of course ;)

We installed Suntek self-healing PPF on the leading edges, a-pillars, roof edge and inside the door seals to protect against shoes. (after seeing the end result he insisted on coming back to have the rocker panels covered with clear bra when before he decided against it due to the additional cost)

Tail lights looked terrible. The owner had not washed the car once so these either came from the factory like this or the dealership created the damage. Who can say a brand new car doesn't need attention?

That little gap between the sidewall and the rim of a wheel can be a real pain to apply UTTG+ to. A gloved finger fixes that problem.

Very nice work, I'm sure the owner was more than thrilled.

Yes, he was very happy. When someone is dropping big bucks on a project they are always a bit shy until they see the finished product then the joy shows up. :D

Nice job I have a black 2013 Mustang with the same tail lights. And mine look like crap right now they seem to scratch really easily.

Thanks. Yes, I've heard other Mustang owners say the same thing.

Bang up job on the car... AND the tail lights!  Congrats!

Thank you. ;)

Looks great!

No surprise on the plastic tail light housings, same thing on pretty much any car that has black plastic. Its so susceptible to marring.

Ya, the black plastic is pretty soft and it's not too bad to correct. The owner's love the overhaul.
