An ONR day....plus a broken Optimum Power Clean bottle

Detailing Gnosis
It was around 30 F outside and about 41 F in the garage today but I wanted to get the salt off the car from the false snow event (rained instead) so I decided to do a rinseless wash.

It was ONR's turn (alternate between ONR and DP Rinseless). Lukewarm water seems to work better from a drying perspective than warm water. It is almost like the paint is slightly warmer than the air and moisture wants to condense on the paint so more difficult to dry. This time I did 1/2 the car before drying the washed side.

As part of cleaning up and reorganizing my detailing cabinet, I noticed something had leaked. I discovered it was my bottle of Optimum Power Clean. The side had cracked. My memory thermometer says nothing got below 39 F (kept near chemicals). My theory is the expanding and contracting caused it to crack. I did not lose much but I wonder if I need to be sure the bottle have not collapsed during use and temperature.
