Amazon Prime

Amazon is nothing new to me.....
We`ve had Prime like forever, have watched as they really evolved throughout the years.
they had some amaZinG deals back in the days, like buy 2 tools, get 3rd for free - or something to that effect. I`m a german tool whore collector..Deals way back was like I spent $300 in tools, got another $300 for free. Something to that extent. It was a long time ago when Amazon was ~really competative~

I generally buy Amazon Direct ,unless a 3rd party that is reputable has it for a MUCH better price and is reputable seller I`m familiar with..

Generally the stuff I shop for on Amazon is ~item specific~.

Anyhow, been checking out their Prime Anniv. Deals and it never dawned on me that since Amazon opened up the FBA, fulfillment for 3rd party sellers, etc, how much ~CRAP~, and I mean that in the literal sense, is sold on Amazon. I would say 50-60% of the Prime Deals are 3rd Party *crap* that people looking for ~cheap crap~ buys. I can see how it`s a revenue maker for Amazon regardless, but IMO it devalues the Brand

I am hoping for a discount on the fire stick, as I would like to pick one up for my mom, but I`m not seeing any signs of it going on sale.

Eh, I find myself thinking: of course they sell lots of [crap]...everybody does and IMO Amazon sorta = everybody these days.

I picked up the Amazon Echo for half price -> 90$after taxes.
I think its at times around there during the year though but figured I would get the jump on it plus you get 20% cash back with the prime store card/ amazon card.

i agree there is a ton of 3rd party stuff on Amazon, its also not always the cheapest place, but I guess you also pay for the convenience as well.

Actually, I think some items are not listed under the respective catagories under the prime day .
ALOT of 3rd party junk. Kinda amazed and what a realization there was so many 3rd party FBA crap....
Kind of a eye opener, but then again, I`m not normally looking online to buy said krap.

I just so happened to have some Melissa and Doug (kids/toddlers brand stuff) in my cart.
It was def. not in the categories when I was checking out the listings to see what was onsale.
When I was looking at my saved items in my cart, I noticed the M&D stuff was on sale.
Or shall we say SUPER SALE. As I scrolled through other M&D listings, a bunch of stuff was onsale too.
Not inflated price and then *sale price*, but regular market price and here`s the kicker......when all said and done, when I ordered and checked out, the discount was 60%+++ off normal price. I was kinda shocked on the pricing I got..

German tools can be quite the trouble. I remember one year, I was all giddy and happy when a order I placed from overseas came. Then when I got the customs invoice, I was not as happy

OT, but while shopping on Amazon, came across ScrubDaddy products. I hope Mr. Edge is doing well !! I suppose selling to 3M is not too shabby in itself !

Just short of the pressure washer, the black Schmitt is still my favorite WW too. I`ve yet to find a brush I like for WW duties
