Always Dry - 9H-LDC / Pro - Coating

I once sorta joked in a post and included a video, as seen on post #5 here http://www.autopia.org/forums/waxes-sealants-and-lsp-s/184239-anti-scratch-coatings.html?highlight=#post2043314

But, it seems someone actually did make that product, or one very similar, for cars! Always Dry has the car coating, a dash/trim coating, and a couple of others.

This product was brought up to me by a guy who`s car I just "cleaned up." He asked if that video he sent me (mud on car) has any merit, or if was all bogus.

Anyway, anybody here ever use the 9H-LDC coating?

(I`m not sure if I can link their site, so I won`t)

Looks like virtually all the other ceramic coatings available...nothing like Ultra-Ever dry or Never Wet.

I have the `regular` and `Pro` versions - It works as good as any other coating out there. It keeps painted surfaces very clean.

I have not been able to quantify the differences with the pro and regular yet as they seem to perform the same initially. Applied both in November I believe and still going like the first week.

Also tried their wheel coating which is equally really good and their tire coating, also quite good. Prices aren`t bad, just the "Pro" price but i guess that`s in line with other "pro" stuff.

The coatings are very easy to use and like said above, ready to hand to the customer in 10 minutes, no special need for UV lamps.

I`m on a Kamikaze and 22PLE kick right now though, playing with their stuff.

I like those applicators. Smart idea.

Oh yeah, absolutely the applicators work wonderful. Been meaning to try and pick up some more and try with other coatings.

Crystal Serum light comes with the exact same applicator also, just plain white color.

edit: and to those that are wondering.. and for the other thread around here... 9h-ldc is made in USA B)

I actually couldn`t stand the applicator when I used CSL. The CarPro block and sued did a much better job with application, didn`t result in finger cramping, and has double to coverage per pass.

Fair enough.. I haven`t tried the CSL yet. It does work nice with 9H-LDC however. I do like the newer CarPro blocks with the slits in the sides to hold the mf suede, or the Optimum one but a bit pricey.
