Alternative uses for wax/polish/sealants

Just for fun, I was wondering what alternative uses people use their waxes/polishes/sealants/QD spray for? Keep it clean lol.

Souveran frosted donuts are my favorite. MMMMMM.... :lol Actually, I pretty much stick to using it on the cars or wheels. I did Klasse my swords once. I haven't done that for awhile... I may have to do it again and see if it helps. :)

I've waxed/sealed my toolboxes, washer and dryer, Zainoed the chrome fixtures in the bathroom, used glass polish on house windows, use Plexus to clean my computer stuff, it goes on and on.

I know some folks Klasse thier shower tile with a PC. :)

I tried AIO/SG on my electric toothbrush once. It tasted like burning. :scared Seriously though I have AIO'ed and waxed my washer, dryer and refrigerator.

Sometimes a quick dose of souveran and/or a polish up with some sort of SMR does work wonders for a lightly scratched CD that just won't quite play right... :)

Klasse AIO does a pretty good job of cleaning finished wood and leaving a nice protective coating. Has not harmed the finished wood after a year either.

My Weber grill gets a coat of EX before parties and the like. I can't comment on how well it holds up to the heat, but the water still beads up nicely on it. :D

Yep, Klasse AIO with PC and the supplied cheapo foam polishing pad on shower tiles = nice.

Wet sanded and compounded (Makita), then a carnauba (Valugard's Carnauba Cream) on my washer/dryer.

Meguiar's QD in the bathroom for weekly clean ups.

Stoner's Invisible Glass for windows and mirrors.

One Grand Show Off for Italian bedroom set.

Meguiar's #18 for LCD monitor.

Wet sanded, polished, Meguiar's #7/#26 my lawnmower.

Microfiber cloths all around the house (wiping down dust on the piano, TV, kitchen counters, etc etc.)

Gosh theres a lot of uses.

I use Eagle One Auto Glass Cleaner on the TV screens in my home. My wife was using Windex with Ammonia and I thought that the Eagle One would be safer since it does not contain Ammonia. And I use my microfiber towels with the glass cleaner.

I use Zaino Z5/Z2 and EX on Birds-eye maple interior panels on my SC430. Brings out the great effects of the wood!

Deanski

I have done the three steps of Mothers products on my daughter's petal tractor, '' cleaner, sealer and glaze, topped with the wax, for the seat, tires and pedals I used Mothers preserve and protectant:xyxthumbs

Here is one of my "secrets" I have been using for a long time.

I grab some cleaner/wax (I use Meguiar's, just the regular cheap consumer product in maroon bottle), should be liquid. I put 3 to 4 drops on a scratched CD, rub in small circles with my index finger until it starts to get hard to rub, then a grab a soft tissue and buff it off using motions from the inside to outside of the CD.

Using this technique I have fixed many scratched CD's that wouldn't play before. The scratches can't be a deep groove however. It usually takes a couple minutes to do a CD, and I do about 3 or 4 at a time, letting the wax haze or dry while I do the others.

I QD'd my lawnmower after doing the lawn this afternoon..that was after doing an extrerior detail on a 2001 Ford Expedition, which was after I worked a night tour of duty at the firehouse!

So no one has thought of gold? I use Zaino on gold and you should see the shine! My wedding ring always looks brand new. Also watches and watch crystals.

I've also use it on the interior wood and on the plastic "windows" of the car radio and heating system, works wonders! Ladt week, for some odd reason, the plastic window on my car radio suddenly looked like it had fogged over. No matter what I did I couldn't get it out, I put some Z2 on it and buffed it right out, came out like new.

So do i. I tryed the bathroom sink and bathtub and it worked fantasticly. Never know till you try hey.

I just went ahead and used some Z6 on almost all the finished wood surfaces in my home. Man does it look and feel great. I wouldn't dare use it on antiques though just in case.
