Alternative to Klasse SG

I have searched this site and am confused with all the products that people have mentioned.

Could someone offer some advice on what a good sealant would be to replace my SG? I am still having trouble with streaking but love the shine and durability. I have a black car and am currently using Klasse AIO, SG, and Natty's Blue, but would like an alternative for the SG.

Thanks!

Menzerna FMJ and DP Premium Surface Shield are both very good sealants too, FMJ is incredibly easy to work with.

Just recieved email.....20% off at Werkstatt

Me too. Looks like I'll be trying Carnauba Jett in the very near future!

BTW, I did a silver G35 yesterday that I finished with Acrylic Jett. Came out wetter than any car I've ever done. :)

Pics by the weekend. ;)

EX-P, EX, WG and UPP all are exceptional sandwiched between AIO and Natty's Blue. For darker finishes, I'd probably lean toward WG (but only a slight edge over EX & EX-P).

IMO, none of these sealants will compare durability wise to KSG, but as long as you keep a nice layering of Natty's Blue on then you should be very happy with the durability and wetness you end up getting.

SG is a acrylic. The only other acrylic I know of is acrylic jet and liquid glass.

All others are polymers.

I cant wait to see the pics. When my last order came in(C-Jett) I had to try something.I took one of the old spare tires I had out back....very dirty, weathered for a couple of years, single stage black paint). I used apc to wipe off, then Prime/Jett/C-Jett and put back outside. Its been around ten days now and I am still amazed. Even the dogs have marked it once as a tribute. I planned on waiting another couple of weeks and then posting pictures.

Acrylic Jett is really nice... not as slick as FMJ but very easy to work with. Durability is really nice as well. I've got it on a 98 Montero for well over a month and still slick. outside 24/7.

Ric-just ordered Prime and Carnauba Jett. I have already tried Prime when eShine was thinking of importing Carlack under the Shokar name. Unfortunately, after using it a couple times, I dropped the glass bottle and it shattered. CJ is new to me.

With the 20% discount, it pretty much paid for shipping. :)

I've just ordered up some AJ & CJ to add to my ever expanding detailing arsenal. I've really got to stop reading all of Scottwax's posts! (lol) I keep buying up many of the products he recommends. (lol) First it was Optimum Polish, then it was OCW......Yesterday I ordered up some QEW......And now just moments ago, I ordered up some Acrylic Jett,Carnauba Jett & the shampoo.

Scottwax: I certainly hope the Vendors are taking car of you for all your non solicited PR you give them. (lol) All kidding aside......I really appreciate all your info & experience.

I wish they were too. :sadwavey:

My customers send me a lot of referrals, I just return the favor when I come across new product. Besides, if others buy their products, the company stays in business and I can continue to use their stuff. :)

Acrylic Jett is the real deal. It makes a very noticable improvement in appearance over AIO alone. Visably wetter and deeper.

If it's the wettest you've seen it has to be pretty darn wet!

You just prepped with AIO? No topper?
