Alcohol Wipedown

I've read here that most people use some sort of Alcohol wipedown to get rid rid of any sealant left on the paint before polishing and to get rid of any polish residue. Do most people use 50/50 mixture?

I use a 50/50 for polish residue .. as for remaining sealant .. the first polishing step will remove it .



I also use OPT. PoliSeal to clean up after polishing instead of IPA.

50/50 os the best mixture......Especially polishes that contain fillers. The wipedown insures that you actually removed the defects, and not filled them in
