AJ Auto Detail: Trashed Mustang

AJ Auto Detail, LLC
This car had to have been in the worst condition out of all the car's I have worked on ever since I started detailing. Oxidation, water spots, scratches, scuffs, rock chips, bug etchings, ect. It was BAD! The owner wanted oxidation removal plus rock chips and scratches touched up. Owner told me to not bother with the interior, but I vac'd/wipedown it anyways. Didn't take too many pics since I was in a HUGE time crunch.

Process:
Wash w/ CG CWG
Clay w/ Pinn UP
Compound w/ Meg's M105
Polish w/ Menz 106ff
LSP w/ Pinn XMT Glaze

Nice work and write up....looks like you could have done a tad more on those headlights...wet sand and buffing would have brought them back to clear

thanks guys

Nice work and write up....looks like you could have done a tad more on those headlights...wet sand and buffing would have brought them back to clear

i did 3-step wetsanding and then compounded/polished and it was still like that... its from the inside of the headlamp (replacement)

Dunno what it is but every mustang headlights I've seen looks like that

It's just cheap plastic they use. On Mustangs they get real bad AJ is right they also deteriorate on the inside.

Great turnaround for the time constraints!:)
