I've been using the purple (berry) leaf shape freshener for quite awhile. They don't make them like they use to, last only about 2 weeks max. Want to switch over to something else, but not sure what to get. What are you using?
 
I use the Yankee Candle air fresheners, I prefer the leather scent. Makes my car smell like brand new



I have yet to find a mall in America without a yankee candle store or a store that sells yankee candles.... Usualy a card store

That's exactly why I stopped using air fresheners a long time ago. I started conccentrating on finding products which smelled good so that my car didn't need an air freshener. Griots leather conditioner is a great product as is MB's vinyl care. Both products leave the inside smelling like new leather.



On the daily driver I use Blue Corals Dry Clean interior cleaner which leaves a fresh mild fragrance. My wife will occassionly buy an air freshener if the dogs been in the car but none seem to last more than 2 weeks. I believe Glade has one which lasts maybe 3 weeks but the scent is a bit too feminine for my tastes.

The yankee candle freshener sounds interesting, how long does it last? What kind of package does it come in?
 
The Yankee Candle air freshener is a lot like the tree air freshners, just a piece of cardboard with the scent on it but square shaped. They have a bunch of fragrances. To be honest I cant say much about durability, I just buy a new one about every month. I can smell it much but people always comment my leather smells great...



I think they make some really great scents, I pay 2.99 for them. Just dont open the entire plastic cover, just like the tree versions its a little overpowering at first
 
Thanks for the ideas. I have upholstery in my Explorer though. I just bought some Megs Car Oder Elimanator. Anyone else got some cool stuff their using?
 
I have recently been using Febreze for autos....I like the clean fresh smell & so do my customers that have upholstery. Try it you will be surprised:xyxthumbs

I saw some of that at Checkers today. Also saw a bunch of French stuff that you spray. I sprayed the X with Meg's Car Odor Eliminator, does a great job. Let's see how long it will last.
 
sup guys, i use something call "GIGA" its around 6~9 bucks from ebay. i loved the smell, they have about 4 scents. the "squash" is what i use, although it doesn't smell anything like squash but it smell "very good" you guys should give a try...
