AIO Durability

How long does just AIO last as compared to AIO + SGx1? CMA claims AIO lasts 150-180 days. Especially since AIO cannot be layered, is this realistic?

A layer of AIO might last half a year like CMA claims, if the car stays in a garage. Out in the world, with no further care, 1-2 months tops. 2-3 layers of SG last about 4-5 months tops that way.

I'd take any durability claims for AIO (by itself) with a grain of salt. I sure never had it last more than a month on anything that got driven. Vendors who handle AIO all publish the same claims, which are, uhm...generous

I apply Klasse AIO with a PC. I believe that applying it this way really gets the most out of AIO's cleaning properties and subsequently makes the product last longer.

It will last for six months on our Suburban which is kept outside, however the protection begins to go downhill before that. I try to apply AIO every 4 months or so to maintain good protection.

I applied Aio on by itself and it sat on the car for one week,( I had plans to apply SG the follwing weekend.) The following weekend when I washed the car the AIO hardly beaded. Also most of the slickness was gone. IMO AIO really isn't a LSP.

My findings have been the exact opposite. I did a friends car with AIO almost 5 weeks ago. We've had over 10 inches of "official rain" since due to 3 hurricanes coming through Atlanta. It is beading so well that he won't bring it back over to let me put somthing on top of it.

I definitely don't think it is something I'd leave on by itself for 6 months, but I've left it on my car for a week or two several times before I could top it and it has worked fine.

Wonder if you got a bad bottle or something?? Did you apply it WOWO or did you leave it on for a bit to cure? I'm just curious and trying to learn. I know there have been products that just didn't work for me (like SG) that others seem to love.

If you want to get rid of your AIO, PM me...maybe we could work out a trade.

I applied the AIO and let it cure. I then wipped it off with no problem. I'm not saying that I dont like AIO, actually I love the stuff. It goes on and off so easy. I just dont like to leave it by itself I always top it. I use AIO as a polish before my LSP.
