AIO DACP Same thing?

Those two products are completely different, and you will most probably use both but with another product between them.

DACP = Aggressive polish used to remove oxidation, swirls, scratches, or pretty much any other paint defect you can think of. DACP is usually applied by PC with a cutting pad and followed by a second pass with a polishing pad. If done correctly, you can sometimes go immediately to the AIO step or LSP. What I mean by "doing it correctly" is to vary the amount of pressure applied to provide a perfect finish. DACP is a *Dual Action Polish* which means it starts off aggressive and slowly diminishes to a fine polish as you work it in. During this process you should start off with moderate pressure and end with little to no pressure at all.

AIO = All In One Cleaner/Polish/Protectant. It is usually used to remove any oils, silicones, waxes, or residue on the surface left by polishes or previous details to prepare the surface for a fresh coat of sealant, protectant, or wax. AIO does a great job at removing very fine defects but isn't anywhere near strong enough to remove major defects like scratches or deep swirls.

Swirl Removers are usually nothing more than glazes which fill the swirls. Some SMR's actually have light polishes in them but still fill what's left over. Swirl Removers should be applied between your polishing step/s and your LSP. By the way, if you use AIO, it will remove any fillers left by the SMR, so do one or the other.

That being said, if you polish the surface well enough there shouldn't be any need for a swirl remover because you will have already *removed* the swirls which is always better than just hiding them, IMO.

Hope this helps.

I'm one of those people who never does a second step between DACP and AIO. Unless it's a black car, I have even gone from DACP with a cutting pad to AIO. I never use anything in between because my killer combo on client car is almost exclusively DACP+AIO+UPP. Last week I did a black S4 with DACP and a polishing pad, then #7 and #26. The owner was very happy with it. Try the DACP and AIO followed by whatever sealant or wax you like. You won't be disappointed.
