after rain...what next ?

ok, so you've spent several hours detailing your car only to watch the heavens open up just after you finish. Your car stays outside overnight and when you take a look in the morning sun, you notice a fine film of dust that the rain has left behind.



how do you tackle this ?

QD if dusting isnt horrible.

You could QD, sure. Or rewash. Who am I to say?

trouble is i dont really have time to rewash until the weekend, and I must admit I havent ever fancied QD'ing as Im scared of creating swirls. i have some meguiars QD laying around and just wondered if i should try it out ?

Try it out on a small out of the way spot firts if you are scared. It really depends on how much dust settled on the car...You could use the california car duster first if you want to *lightly* dust the car off first before QD'ing.

Invest in a car cover to avoid the just after washed over night sprinkles. Any water that maes it through the cover just dry, get in and drive!
